I’m going to be at CES in Las Vegas again from Tuesday January 9th through Friday January 12th.
If you would like to meet, please email me at meetces18@kgontech.com.
Please include you contact information, reason you or your company wants to meet, and the best dates, times, and if you have a place where you would like to meet. Last year, I was very busy, particularly, the first 3 days.
Note, I am meeting both for my blog use and for private/confidential business meetings as a consultant. I want to make clear, if you want to meet privately and don’t want the information on the blog, that is perfectly OK. I will also respect embargo’s of information that you want to keep private until a certain date.
Last year I spent a lot of time in the AR/VR area on the 1st floor of South Hall and I suspect I will be doing the same this year. The AR and VR areas have been “promoted” this to the West End of South Hall (South Hall 1) where as they were in the back last year.
As you probably have noticed, I have just updated the blog format/theme. I have used the same theme since this blog started in 2011 and it was becoming too constraining, particularly in terms of column width with all the visual content. Hopefully it also give a bit cleaner, more modern look. I plan to make other changes/improvements in 2018, so hopefully, this is just a start.

Enjoy CES, and I think the new format looks better!

Love the new format. Much cleaner. Wish there was a way where I can subscribe to your blog such that I get notifications whenever there are new articles here.
Never mind….seems like this new format will send me notifications when a new post is up. Thanks.
I am very excited to see who you think is the top AR/VR optic company is. I’ve heard a lot about this small company in Michagin called Immy inc. It will be interesting to see what youthink.
I know about IMMY and I am hoping to see their device at CES. I will let you know what I think once I get to see it.
Karl,
Have you had the chance to see the IMMY product?
I have not seen IMMY’s headset for myself. Hopefully I will soon.
I heard they have a exceptional optic , but its only been shown to a few. When do you think you will get a chance to see it work and comment on it?
It is up to IMMY. I have asked to see their prototype.
