I will be speaking (virtually) at the Bay Area AR/VR Creators meetup on January 14th (tomorrow, as I write this) at 2:00 PM Pacific Time. It is free but you must go to the Meetup link to sign up.
The topic of my talk is “THE BIG ISSUES DRIVING DISPLAY AND OPTICS DECISIONS IN AR.” It is only a 20-minute presentation, so I am only going to have time for the highlights.
In some ways, this presentation is a follow-up to the 30-minute presentation I gave virtually at the New York Augmented Reality Meetup on December 14th, 2020, titled “The Reality of Augmented Reality.” A video of that presentation is currently available here (my presentation starts at 34:40).
Thanks for a nice diagram Karl
Would you say latest gen Lumus is less efficient than Oorym?
Most likely due to Lumus using pupil expansion. They are both interesting technologies, but more different than they may seem on the first inspection.
